What is a TCG?

Well, it's pretty much the same as collecting/trading tangible cards (you know, like cards of your favourite sports team from packets of cereal & stuff XD), with one major difference - it's all online. ^^
Basically: you join (& have a starter pack emailed to you), earn cards by either taking part in games/contests on the site or donating various items (etc), and then trade (or collect.. or both) them with other members of the same TCG.
It's all about having fun & interacting with others - plus there's the added bonus of collecting all the cards in a specific deck and displaying what you've achieved (as well as getting a reward, of course!).

Earning cards

When you join you recieve a starter pack of six cards, two cards from your collecting set and four random cards.
When you have recieved your starter pack you can earn more cards by playing games, you also get cards when mastering a set, when leveling up, on your brithday and sometimes in random site updates.

Trading

The whole point of the game is to trade cards with other members and maybe find some new friends. If you're at a members trade post and you see a card you want, fill out their trade form or send them an e-mail asking if they would like to trade. You should also offer one of your cards in return, preferably one they'd want.
When the member you are trading with has accepted your trade, you must immediately take that card off your trade post, you do not own this card anymore since you traded it away for another one. Be sure to also log the trade in your trade log.
If someone should not want to trade with you, all you can do is accept it and move on, please do not send an angry e-mail in return. If someone wants to trade a card with you, but you're not interested in the card, reply back to them with a polite rejection.

Mastering a set

When you have collected all cards in a set you have mastered it. When you master a set, send in a master form to let me know and you will get one card of choice and two random cards.
If you also have the optional collect card (available for most magazine sets) you will get another card of choice. You must have the optional collect card when sending in the master form, if you get this card after you haave sent in a master form for a set, it is too late. If you don't have it at the time when you master the set, you can choose to wait to send in the form until you get it.

Special Sets You can also master special sets, if you master a special set with 20 cards, you get three cards of choice and three random cards. If you master a special set with 15 cards (15 magazine covers or a puzzle set) you get two cards of choice and three random cards.

Levels

Level 1: 0-40 cards
Level 2: 41-90 cards
Level 3: 91-140 cards
Level 4: 141-200 cards
Level 5: 201-270 cards
Level 6: 271-340 cards
Level 7: 341-420 cards
Level 8: 421-510 cards
Level 9: 511-600 cards
Level 10: 601-700 cards

Levels go by card worth! When you level up you get one card of choice and two random cards.

Yes, I made this tcg because I like the subject and I really like the cards, so of course I wanna play too! This is how I get cards:
I get from the games, not for playing, but for updating, I get to choose from the same rewards you do.
I get to take from the updates and freebies, just like you do.
